Club update for September

Dear Paddler
Well the year progresses and the summer holidays are virtually over.
Whilst the club doesn’t usually meet on a Bank Holiday, a number of coaches have offered to run a coaching session this Saturday, so we have decided to run sessions this week.
We will be offering Coached sessions, a come along and practice your own thing and a Stand up Paddle board session. These will hopefully be available to book shortly on the website. We will also offer a rescue practice session if you would like to practice some rescues.
I am sure that you want to know how things have been progressing at the club and the good news is that we have been able to run 4 weeks of sessions now, and our systems are working well.
It is unlikely that we will be running open sessions in the next few months but we do hope to resume beginners sessions shortly and we will let you know when we do. The good news is that we have a waiting list of members wanting to join the club to start paddling.
We now feel that the time is right to recall all of the club equipment that is still out on loan, as members are wanting to use this for sessions.
We would therefore ask if you could return equipment either this Saturday or next Saturday.
We also hope to have some news on some trips so that you can start planning your diaries for the months ahead.
Huge thanks go to all of the Trustees and coaches who have facilitated the training during the week and at the weekends, and who have sorted out all of the logistics of restarting back at the club.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch, and we look forward to seeing you back at the club.
Regards Dawn
