Severn Trip
River Severn Trip 24th September – Coach led suitable for those at roughly 2 star standard, 20km so a long touring trip, Pool Quay to Melverly. Green flow moving water with some riffles and dodge the trees. Contact Ian Scott on [email protected] for more information and to register your interest.
Anyone interesting in attending the trip please let us know by Wednesday so we can arrange collection of equipment on Thursday or Saturday.

The annual awards and Recognition awards nominations need to be with British Canoeing by the end of September, if there is anyone in the club you think should be given an award please go to the British Canoeing website and nominate them.

The National Volunteer & Recognition Awards will take place on Saturday 24th March 2018.
There are 7 awards in the 2017/18 Volunteer & Recognition Awards;
- Young Volunteer
- Volunteer of the Year
- Impact on Equality & Diversity
- Geoff Good Coach/Leader of the Year
- John MacGregor Outstanding Challenge Award
- Club and Centre of the year.
- Outstanding Contribution
There are 4 awards at the Coaching & Leadership Conference on 17th/18th February 2018 (one of these award winners will be put forward for the Geoff Good Coach/Leader of the Year award):
- Impact on Coaching Award
- Performance Coach of the Year
- Community Coach of the Year
- Junior Coach/Leader of the Year
To nominate a Volunteer for a Volunteer Recognition Award or a Coach for the Annual Coach & Leader Awards, please read the below award categories and fill out the necessary forms below.
British Canoeing may chose not to present an award should less than 3 nominations be received.
