British Canoeing offices, National Watersports Centre, Adbolton Lane, Nottingham, NG12 2LU.
The meeting will start at 8.30pm with light refreshments available from 8pm.
Members should bring their membership card with them for the meeting.
The club trustees wish to bring the following two motions to the AGM.
1. That a new trustee position be created to be responsible for White Water paddling within the club.
2. That from August 1st 2019 all members renewing or becoming members of HPPCC will become club associate members of British Canoeing, if they are not individual members. Information to this effect to be on renewal and new membership applications from 1st August 2018.
Information on item 2.
This item will be explained fully at the AGM to members, but briefly at present the club simply informs British canoeing of the numbers of members of the club who are not British Canoeing members, and then pays a fee for each of these members. In the future British Canoeing wish for these members to become Club Associate members of British Canoeing with their details being passed to British Canoeing so that they can receive information from the National Governing Body.
This change will not cost members or the club any extra money, but will enable non British Canoeing members to receive information from the National Governing Body.
