Another round up from HPPCC

Dear Paddler

Welcome to another update from the club.

As you will be aware water levels are now at a record high in the area with a lot of local flooding.

The club has therefore taken the decision to cancel the Saturday session for the 16th of November for an unprecedented 3rd consecutive week.  For those that paddle in the evenings the suggestion is that the centre might be closed for about a month for some repair work to the electrics and lights.

We will keep you posted.

In the mean time, turn your thoughts towards Christmas and the Christmas Party on the 14th of December.  This year will be an informal buffet gathering which is designed to be family friendly, with under 5’s coming free of charge.

Bookings will open next week on the club booking page and it is just £8 a head to come along.

Whilst on the subject of Christmas, how about a nice club hoodie, or fleece to keep the winter chills at bay, or a branded rash vest.
Have a look at the club shop here and order your club clothing either for yourself or as a Christmas present for someone else.  Last order date for Christmas deliveries is the 16th of December.

We hope to have details of the freestyle pool sessions out to you shortly and our second block of pool sessions start next week.  The open access sessions start after Christmas.

What ever you do, go safely and mind the floods.
