Club Sessions

All those attending club sessions must be a member of the club (Temporary or Full).

Resuming paddling at the club

As with all outdoor activities we are limited to 6 people outdoors together at any one time, social distancing must be followed, kit needs to be sanitised and safety protocols will need to be followed. When possible where paddlers book on to a course and need kit for a number of weeks that kit will be issued out for the whole course, especially BAs and Spray decks.

Please note the club has NO access to the following:

  • Indoor Showers – an outdoor shower is available
  • The Whitewater course, unless the paddler has booked directly with the centre
  • The backchannels and daleks

The club is running a number activities, including some open sessions. However, we are not able to accept cash and numbers need to be limited to those allowed by the current government advice. Therefore, to prevent disappointment we are asking you to pre-book online only. Please choose to pay online when booking too.

The club has taken the decision to NOT restart any beginners’ sessions at present and we ask that you only book on if you are able to safely get yourself out of your boat and to the side if you capsize to limit the need for hands on rescues. Please contact us if you are unsure.

Saturday Mornings (All year – excluding Bank Holiday Saturdays)

Slalom Coaching (Different evenings and times)

Slalom coaching sessions are far more structured than the recreational sessions and spaces are limited on each session.  Paddlers wanting to try slalom, receive slalom coaching or join on of the coaching squads should contact the slalom representative.
